Dakshina (traditional priest’s offering) and any gratuity/tips from the customer go directly to the Pandit. PujaAtHome does not take any share of Dakshina — it is separate from the operational pricing above.
- Dakshina is a voluntary, sacred tradition — it is between the devotee and the Pandit.
- If customers feel happy with the Pandit’s conduct and the quality of the puja, they may offer Dakshina directly.
- Suggested Dakshina guidance: $11 – $101, or as per the devotee’s wish.
⭐ Special Note for Vishwakarma Puja
All tools, machines and vehicles should be cleaned and purified with Gangajal before the puja, then marked with a Swastik and tied with Kalawa. They are traditionally given rest and not used for work on this day.
