🙏 Dakshina / Tips Policy
Dakshina (traditional priest’s offering) and any gratuity/tips from the customer go directly to the Pandit. PujaAtHome does not take any share of Dakshina – it is separate from the operational pricing above.
- Dakshina is a voluntary, sacred tradition – it is between the devotee and the Pandit.
- If customers feel happy with the Pandit’s conduct and the quality of the puja, they may offer Dakshina directly.
- Suggested Dakshina guidance: $11 – $101 or as per the devotee’s wish.
⭐ Important Instructions
- Snan & Shuddhi: Bathe in Ganga water where possible, or mix a few drops of Gangajal into your bathing water at home before the puja.
- Deep Daan: Offering 11, 21, or 51 diyas in the Ganga on Ganga Dussehra, Kartik Purnima, or another auspicious day is considered especially significant — use eco-friendly leaf or clay diyas.
- Cleanliness: Never immerse plastic or non-biodegradable items in the river, as this is considered a great sin.
