Dakshina (traditional priest’s offering) and any gratuity/tips from the customer go directly to the Pandit. PujaAtHome does not take any share of Dakshina — it is separate from the operational pricing above.
- Dakshina is a voluntary, sacred tradition — it is between the devotee and the Pandit.
- If customers feel happy with the Pandit’s conduct and the quality of the puja, they may offer Dakshina directly.
- Suggested Dakshina guidance: $11 – $101, or as per the devotee’s wish.
⭐ Special Note for Lakshmi Ganesh Puja
The Chowki should always face East or North, with Lord Ganesh placed to the left of Mata Lakshmi. Offer Modak to Ganesh Ji and Kheer/white sweets to Lakshmi Ji, and always use Durva (never Tulsi) for Ganesh Ji’s worship.
