Description
The sacred festival of Navratri commences with the highly revered Vedic ritual of Shri Navratri Ghatasthapana (Kalash Sthapana). Symbolizing the cosmic invocation of the Divine Mother — Maa Durga (Adishakti) — into the home, the Kalash represents the universe and all divine deities, while the auspicious sowing of Barley (Jau) invokes fertility, prosperity, and spiritual growth for the household.
Now, you can experience the divine grace of authentic Shri Navratri Ghatasthapana Puja from the comfort of your home through our online puja services. Performed live under your name and gotra by learned Vedic pandits, this ritual includes the traditional barley sowing, sacred Kalash installation with holy Gangajal & mango leaves, coconut invocation, Akhand Jyoti lighting, and Durga Archana.
Why Perform Shri Navratri Ghatasthapana Puja?
Ghatasthapana is the foundational and most important ritual of Navratri. Installing the holy Kalash on Pratipada tithi invites the protective presence of Maa Durga, Lord Ganesha, the Navgrahas, and the Tridevis into the household. It removes negative energies, establishes peace and harmony, and ensures the spiritual fruits and auspicious blessings of the entire nine-day Navratri festival.
