Description

In Hindu culture, the Sagai (Engagement & Ring Ceremony) marks the sacred beginning of a lifelong matrimonial union between two souls and their families. To seek divine grace, health, harmony, and eternal love, performing an authentic Engagement Puja invokes the blessings of Lord Ganesha, Lord Laxmi-Narayana, and Kuldevta before exchanging rings and shagun gifts.

Now, you can experience the profound blessings of an authentic Sagai & Engagement Puja from the comfort of your home, through our online puja services. This sacred puja will be performed with the names and gotras of both the bride and groom by experienced Vedic pandits, ensuring divine harmony, obstacle removal, and auspiciousness for your journey ahead.

Why Perform the Sagai & Engagement Puja?

The Engagement Ceremony (Vagdana) is a sacred promise and spiritual alignment between two families. Performing this puja purifies the bond between the couple, removes any planetary or horoscope obstacles (Graha Dosh), and invokes divine protection from Lord Ganesha and Kuldevta for a peaceful and prosperous married life.

How We Perform the Engagement Puja Online

  • Personalized Rituals: We conduct the puja specifically for the bride and groom, invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha & Lord Laxmi-Narayana under both of their names and gotras.
  • Vedic Chanting & Guidance: Experienced Pandits chant auspicious mantras, energizing your home with positive vibrations. They will guide you step-by-step through the Tilak, Shagun exchange, and Ring Ceremony via live video call.

Benefits of Engagement & Ring Ceremony Puja

  1. Fulfillment of Matrimonial Harmony: Invokes the eternal blessings of Lord Laxmi-Narayana for lifelong devotion, love, and understanding between the couple.
  2. Obstacle Removal (Vighnaharta Grace): Lord Ganesha removes any unexpected delays or obstacles in upcoming wedding preparations.
  3. Sanctified Shagun & Ring Exchange: Purifies the rings, bridal chunri, groom attire, and shagun gifts with sacred mantras before they are exchanged.
  4. Family Unity & Peace: Unites both families in devotion and festive warmth, ensuring positive surroundings and mutual respect.

  • Dakshina is a voluntary, sacred tradition — it is between the devotee and the Pandit.
  • If customers feel happy with the Pandit’s conduct and the quality of the puja, they may offer Dakshina directly.
  • Suggested Dakshina guidance: $11 – $101 or as per the devotee’s wish.

⭐ Special Note for Sagai / Engagement Rituals

Begin with Ganesh & Kuldevta Pujan invoking blessings for the couple. Tilak and Shagun are done first from the groom’s side (mithai, saree, jewellery, shringar), followed by the bride’s side (suit, dry fruits, attire, cash). Rings are exchanged by placing them on each other’s ring finger after the tilak ritual.
