📜 Brief Vehicle Puja Rituals
- Clean the vehicle inside out and place the idol or sticker of Lord Ganesha / Hanuman on the dashboard.
- Apply Roli and draw Swastik (卐) or Om (ॐ) symbol on the steering wheel / handle using Akshat.
- Tie Kalawa (Mauli) on the steering wheel / handle and decorate the vehicle with a flower garland.
- Light the Diya and Camphor, perform Aarti of the vehicle and distribute Prasad to all present.
- Break the coconut in front of the vehicle and place one lemon under each of the four tyres for protection.

Dakshina (traditional priest’s offering) and any gratuity/tips from the customer go directly to the Pandit. PujaAtHome does not take any share of Dakshina — it is separate from the service pricing.
- Dakshina is a voluntary, sacred tradition — it is between the devotee and the Pandit.
- If customers feel happy with the Pandit’s conduct and the quality of the Puja, they may offer Dakshina directly.
- Suggested Dakshina: $11 – $101, or as per the devotee’s wish.
